Brief of Laser marker WATTSAN FL HH

WATTSAN FL HH laser marker – marking and engraving of products in any spatial position

WATTSAN FL HH is a fiber laser marker machine with a solid-state transmitter (IPG, Max Photonics, Raycus, JPT) and a detachable handheld scanner. This solution will provide maximum comfort when working both in horizontal and vertical planes. The machine is convenient for marking and engraving of large products that are hard to move. FL HH laser marker can mark plastic, name plates, electronic boards, etc. in assembly line production. Desktop laser machine is designed for marking metals (including rare metals), plastic, rubber, PVC, epoxy resin, ceramics, etc.

The service life of the transmitter is up to 100 000 hours which guarantees a long period of continuous operation without additional costs. The machine can both engrave and mark. Two working areas are available for the convenience of work: 110x110 mm and 150x150 mm

The machine is controlled via EzСad system which changes the text in real time during laser treatment. Excel sheets are supported. EzCad intuitive interface allows mastering new equipment in a matter of few hours. Vector and bit map formats of images are supported, for example: BMP, PLT, CDR, DXF, AI, SVG, etc., and the software has a built-in generator for marking and barcoding.

Wattsan laser markers are easy and convenient to use

  • Mobility in operation

The laser marker can work in both desktop and manual (mobile) modes. The device is equipped with a detachable marking unit that applies images in any position and on surfaces of all, including large, objects. Wattsan FL HH allows engraving engraving on vertical surfaces which makes it indispensable in the production.

  • F-Theta lens

The size of the work area changes depending on the size of the installed lens. WATTSAN laser markers are equipped with lenses of two sizes – 85 and 79 mm. If you work in depth on small layouts, it is better to install a lens field diameter, the beam will be thinner and the result will be of higher quality.

  • 2-in-1 laser marker

A rotating device can be installed on the laser marker for working with cylindrical, conical, spherical and other shapes. The device holds even fragile materials securely without damaging them and scratching the surface.

  • Lifting bench

When working with small products, focus can be adjusted by lifting and lowering the bench. It is most suitable for working with sheet materials for the production of plates, name plates and showpieces. It produces a high-quality detailed image with robust edges.

Tips for use

  • FL TT with MOPA

With MOPA you can adjust the pulse frequency and pulse duration in a wide range. With the right parameters, you can colour mark stainless steel and other metals!

Let's do an experiment. In this video we will show how the temperature of the material itself affects the colour marking result.

Experiences from enthusiastic bloggers

  • A great laser engraver, it can cut significant thicknesses of wood without effort. I used it for both engraving and cutting, and the machine worked wonderfully.

Ask questions

  • Laser markers usually have small working area: from 100*100 to 300*300. You should keep it in mind while choosing the machine. Then you should decide what type of material are you going to work with. For exaple Co2 marker is good for wood, plastic and plexiglass. If you want to mark metal then you should pick fiber laser marker. The choice of emitter depends on the desired result. For example, if you want to do color marking on metal, then IPG or JPT are an excellent choice.

  • It is a permanent image resistant to mechanical damage, acidic and alkaline media, high and low temperatures.

  • It depends on your application. The main selection criterion is the emitter power and the lens. For quick deep engraving or working on highly reflective metals, it is better to use emitters with a power of 50W and a lens with a working area of 110x100mm. For high quality marking a 20-30W emitter and a 200x200 or 300x300 mm lens will do the trick. For more details, please contact Virmer managers: +31852731786, е-mail: info@virmer.com

  • For the hobby, budget markers with MaxPhotonics or Raycus emitters are suitable. However, if your hobby is jewellery making, you should consider machines with IPG emitters from 50W. For more details, please contact Virmer managers: +31852731786,
    е-mail: info@virmer.com

  • CO2 laser sources mark and engrave organic materials: plywood and all types of wood-based materials, paper and cardboard, leather and faux leather, fabric, glass and mirror, plastics and rubber, stone and ceramics. Fiber emitters mark and engrave metals (ferrous metals, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, etc), plastics and rubber, leather and faux leather.
