Co2 Laser Cutting Engraving Machine Wattsan 1610 LT works around the clock for the benefit of its owners, the equipment is easy to set up, operate and maintain. The working field of 1600×1000 mm with a depth of lowering of the working table of 160 mm allows you to handle different materials: wood, cardboard, acrylic, glass, rubber, etc. The machine has a through table, which is the opening rear lid of the machine. If you remove it, you can process materials of any length on the machine, such as fabric in rolls or sheets of plastic and plywood. The machine does not need to re-cut the workpiece, which reduces the time and cost of the final product.

A slight overpayment for the hoisting mechanism will allow you to work with large and thick materials, as well as to make orders for products that can be made on a pivot axis. And, as the cherry on the cake — with the lift table it is very convenient to adjust the focus, no need to unscrew, raise and lower the working head every time.

Frame structure

The main feature and base of Wattsan machines is a frame structure. The frame design ensures vibration-free operation at high speeds during engraving. This makes the machines less likely to require maintenance. Machine frames are continually being improved to increase the rigidity of Wattsan machines.
Well-arranged waste collection compartment

All Wattsan machines are equipped with a funnel-shaped container to collect cutting products. The funnel also has the function of reinforcing the machine structure. In addition, the container improves smoke extraction and protects the mechanical parts of the machine from wastes.
Reinforced gantry

The gantry wall thickness is 5 to 7 mm (in the corners). The gantry has a large safety margin for additional equipment with camera, autofocus or 4 laser heads. Thus, a machine with one cutting head has 4 times the safety margin.

3-phase stepper motor

A 3-phase stepper motor is more accurate than a 2-phase stepper motor and has increased reliability and longer service life.
1:4 belt gearbox

The belt gearbox converts speed into force and splits the pitch thereby improving the engraving quality. Another function of the belt gearbox is to reduce the load on the stepper motor.
Unique laser head

The anodized laser head is backfiring protected and allows you to use all types of lenses (short-, medium-, and long-focus). For engraving, an extended nozzle is recommended, while for cutting, a narrowed nozzle is the better choice to increase blowing force.
Central positioning of the stepper motor in the Y axis

On Wattsan machines, the stepper motor is centrally located to ensure an even movement of the gantry along the Y-axis. This positioning and the use of couplings prevents the gantry overbalance.

Can the WATTSAN 1610 LT be set up on the first floor? We don’t have a lift—would it be possible to assemble the machine there?
